What to do? Too many ideas in my head…

Breathe

  1. Relax
  2. Breathe
  3. Know you will solve his easily

Write it all down:

  • Ideas are meaningless in your head, write them down
  • Write them all down
  • Yes really, write them all down

Expand your notes:

  • What do you need to achieve each one?
  • Money?
  • Time?
  • Help?
  • List the benifits of each one
  • What will it allow you to do
  • What will it not allow you to do
  • Why is it important to you?
  • Is it really important to you?

Prioritise

  • Which ones give the most benefit for least time invested
  • Which ones can be done before others
  • Which ones will you put off until the other are done
  • Which will you drop completely for now and review in six months?

Organise

  • Make three different piles:
  • Can be done now
  • Can be done in a short while
  • Can wait
  • File the ‘can wait’ pile and review in 6 months
  • File the ‘can be done in a short while pile’ and review in one month: Drop the ones that can wait

Commit

  • Know which task is most important and set yourself too completing it
  • Set yourself deadline
  • Find the help you need
  • Find an accountability coach to ensure you focus (For example my new program)

Gather

  • Gather what you need to get started
  • Have everything in one place
  • Make sure it is useable and useful for the time you call upon it

Start

  • No time like now
  • Was not so hard was it?
  • Get ready for the word ‘Why didn’t I do this earlier’

Ideas in your head are meaningless

Ideas on paper start to become meaningful

Ideas which you discuss with others, develop and take action on, no longer stay as ideas.

I struggle with the same issues. I believe as an entrepreneur one has to deal with that issue in a manner as you described. True success comes from focusing on one particular thing. That thing is the hard thing to figure out though.
