I have been working with a few clients recently when it hit me, 3 is the magic number in business.

Learn the power of the number 3 and everything falls into place and helps you become successful. Don’t believe me, let me prove just how important the number three should be in your business life:

The magic number 3:

3 = Number of key selling points

One feature is rarely enough to keep you competitive in the long term, 2 is risky but still not foolproof, yet 3 offers your customers choice and allows you the chance to be a complete package.

3 = Number of KPI’s (Key performance/performing indicators) you should focus on

That means the number of key features you should concentrate on. Yes, your product may have hundreds but focus on doing three well first, release it and then add more. But it all starts with 3.

3 = Steps in eliminating worry form your life

Proven three steps to eliminating worry.

  1. Define what your worry is
  2. Accept the worst that could happen
  3. Work on improving the situation from being the worst to something slightly better.

Three steps, massive effect.

3 = Main reasons for me writing this post

  1. To share my idea on the magic number 3
  2. Give proof of the fact that the magic number 3 rule exists
  3. Describe how the discovery will help me

3 = Number of websites I check almost everyday – The more people I ask, the more they give me 3 answers

3 = Number of different products you must be known for before you set up the ladder of business recognition (path of the guru)

3 = Number of primary colours – also the number fo colours you should use on your site to keep it simple but attractive

3 = Average number of bonuses people attach to their products to be seen to over deliver

3 = Reasons why people will follow my blog:

  1. They want to learn how I earn money and make 1 million dollars/year
  2. They want to see proof that this is true
  3. They want to be able to learn to do it themselves also

3 = Number of tasks you should focus on completing each day. One never satisfies you, two is OK but usually due to pressure to complete them, but three makes a real difference to your life and ensures you are on the path to being productive and not just reactive to pressures.

You see, three, really is the magic number. It should be the focus of your business and life. Start thinking in 3′s to ensure you focus on the right area’s of your business. What three things matter? What three things are you customers most interested in? What three things attracted your customers to you? What three things can you do your make your customer’s life better.

Think in 3′s – it really is the magic number.

I am a big believer in Three’s and follow this type of approach in most things I do on a daily, weekly basis.

Once you start to focus on three’s, you will notice that much of the world is organized this way which further speaks to the effectiveness of taking this approach to your daily work.

Its definitely something to try…you will be surprised at how well it works.
